Myth: Green cleaning products do not work.
Fact: The most common myth of all regarding Green cleaning products. We can see why since most Green products were presented to us over 20 or 30 years ago and tended to be poor performers. However, in the past 10 or 15 years, that has changed radically. In most cases, we have found there are now Green alternatives that work as well (if not better) than conventional cleaning products.
Myth: Green cleaning products cost more than conventional cleaning products.
Fact: This can be true for some Green cleaning products this however, is not true for all of them. Green cleaning products are becoming more competitive with cost compared with orthodox cleaning products.
Myth: Green cleaning is a craze.
Fact: This actually was the view of many experts in the professional cleaning industry until about 10 or 15 years ago. But when more information came out about the benefits of Green cleaning — including enhanced worker productivity we have found a lot of companies are looking for an eco-friendly alternative to keep their office and work spaces spic and span!
Myth: Green cleaning only involves products.
Fact: Using products when Green cleaning is important however it is not the be all and end all. Green cleaning also involves cleaning procedures, processes, and methods. For example, we will sanitise telephone and work stations as we now know after many years of research the amount of germs carried on the phone alone.
Myth: Now that you’ve gone Green, you’re done.
Fact: It is easy to think that once you have had one good green clean then all of your problems are resolved! We always recommend regular cleans throughout the year.
